September 20th--Our very own Tom Veveers and E.J. Paul will be demonstrating the "Shelter Box." Should be both educational and fun.

Current--Joel Petchon has 2007 Entertainment Books for sale for GSR--South Jersey-30.00 & Philadelphia--25.00. Twenty percent of the proceeds benefit GSR.

September 22nd--Stand Down--Once a year in Camden County Homeless Veterans are brought to the Armory in Cherry Hill to receive a hot meal and a medical check-up. Volunteers are needed, no experience necessary. Contact Joe Eisberg. The following Rotarians have signed up: Joe Eisberg, Sandi Lichtman, Juliann Mitchell, Joel Gardner, William Tobolsky.

October 19, 2006--Membership After Hours--Viennese Cafe, Cherry Hill, NJ. Don Guardian, Past District Govenor will be the speaker at this membership drive event. If you know anyone interestd in joining please bring them to this event. Contact Ilean Stein for more details.

December 3rd--Holiday Party--Cafe Aldo Lamberti's, Route 70, Cherry Hill. The fun begins at 6pm.



Last Week's Meeting--Classification Talks-

Sandi Lichtman

Sandi was born and raised in Miami Beach and loves warm weather. She attended Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia where she received a graduate degree in speech pathology. Sandi also met her husband in Atlanta. Within six weeks of meeting him they were engaged, six weeks later, she was married. Sandi is a real estate broker and has been involved in this industry for the last twenty four years, mostly with residential properties. Her daughter is a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design. Currently she works in NYC as a textile designer. Sandi mentioned a varety of interests: kayaking, Habitat For Humanity, Domestic Violence Support Team-- Cherry Hill , NJ, is a DECA judge, and is the drummer for her Dragon Boat team. See Sandi and her crew race on Saturday, October 7th. Her life's goals are to live where it is warm in January and to travel frequently.

 

Bill Harmer

Bill has been involved in the real estate industry for the last forty years. He is licensed in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey to appraise real estate. Bill has two children, a son who is a graduate of Rutgers and works with him in his appraisal and consulting business. A daughter who has a PhD in microbiology. She also completed a fellowship at Harvard University. Currently she is teaching at Stockton College. Bill has one grandchild whom he enjoys babysitting. His wife is the Director of the Silver Care Nursing Facility.
