The board approved two donations: $500 to Project Stretch and $250 to Family Services in Burlington County.
Foundation Chair Joel Gardner requested donations to the Rotary Foundation. We currently have $2500 with a goal of $5000.
Rotary Calendar
August 25th--12:15pm Adam Majoros, our exchange student will be a guest at our meeting. Clothing will be collected for Image & Attitudes. This is the Camden County resource providing used clothing for Camden's unemployed residents who need professional outfits when applying for jobs.
Clothing needed is professional wear for both men & women. All donated items should be dry cleaned and on hangers. Accessories such as shoes, belts,ties, etc are welcomed as well.
Bring clothing to August 25th Rotary meeting at Ponzio's. Unable to make the meeting? Have too many items to bring in your vehicle? Contact Marv Axler or Fred Levin-- arrangements will be made to come to your home or business to collect the donation.

There are still a few tickets left for “Strike Out Hunger” night, Philles vs Mets. Tickets are 27.00 each. Eight dollars of every ticket goes to Foundation. Contact Marv Axler for more information-- 856-665-6555.
August 17th, 8am--Rotary International Breakfast at the Crown Plaza Hotel on Route 70, Cherry Hill (formerly the Hilton). Breakfast buffet is free to members. The price for guests at the Strike-Out-Hunger breakfast is $15.00 for pre-registration (call David Pilla 667-1856 or Marvin Axler 665-6555) or $20.00 at the door. Speaker will be Luis Vicente Giay from Argentina, Chairman Rotary Foundation 2006-2007.
August 21st--Adam Majoros (milanello2@freemail.hu) our new exchange student will be arriving in the US. He is fifteen, currently resides in Hungary and will begin his school year here in the States with the Pang family. Adam will live with two other families before his 2006-2007 school year is completed. Ilean suggested that we welcome him with email messages from members in our group.
September 20th--Kennedy Hospital in Cherry Hill is offering a free course in CPR. It is a three hour class beginning at 6pm. Our very own Roseanne Myers will be teaching the class.
December 3rd--Holiday Party--Cafe Aldo Lamberti's, Route 70, Cherry Hill. The fun begins at 6pm.

Image and Attitude, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization which helps to elevate the image and self-esteem of economically disadvantaged women by providing business attire to those actively seeking employment. If hired, Image and Attitude will provide clothing five days. In addition, Image and Attitude provides career development support through a mentoring and support group to help ensure their success and job retention
About 100 people a month are helped by Image and Attitudes. The women and men shop for the clothing which will help present them with the most professional image possible. Image and Attitude provide additional trips on successful interviewing to enhance their opportunities or employment.
In the past five years, I&A has outfitted, and/or reached through workshops, over 4,000 women, nurturing within them an inner strength and an outer image to succeed at obtaining and retaining a job. For more info: www.imageandattitude.org
